Da “Il Gazzettino vesuviano”: “Distance learning during lockdown” la conferenza internazionale che vedrà partecipare il 14 giugno relatori da più parti del mondo. Incontro sula piattaforma online ‘Zoom’, trasmessi in diretta (live simulcast) su ‘Radioselfie.it’ [da Andrea Ippolito -11 giugno 2020]

Al via il seminario ed incontro tra docenti di diverse nazionalità riguardante la didattica a distanza, presenti anche il presidente del club UNESCO di Baronissi, Umberto Landi, nonché la coordinatrice nazionale ENO Environment, Linda Isabella Lidia Giannini.

Supporta l’evento anche la Associazione sportiva dilettantistica San Paolo 1970 di Gragnano.

I relatori provenienti da India, Paraguay, Spagna, Malta, Bulgaria, etc., si incontreranno il 14 giugno sulle piattaforma online “Zoom” e verranno trasmessi in diretta (live simulcast) su “Radioselfie.it“.

Ad organizzare il tutto é la prof.ssa Olga Mosca, Quality Label eTwinning ed in servizio presso il IV Circolo Didattico di Scafati, la quale si occupa, tra le altre cose, di eTwinning.

eTwinning é la piattaforma europea di gemellaggi elettronici tra scuole a cui possono accedere (una volta riconosciuti dalle Unità Nazionali, per l’Italia l’INDIRE  – Firenze) solo insegnanti e personale della scuola.

I gemellaggi avvengono tra scuole, insegnanti e alunni dei paesi dell’area Schengen  a cui si aggiungono altri paesi dell’ex blocco sovietico (Ucraina, Azebaigian, Georgia…), la Giordania, il Libano, la Tunisia.

Al via la conferenza internazionale sulla didattica a distanza

Intervista alla prof.ssa Mosca

Gent.ma prof.ssa Mosca ci racconti un po’ in breve la sua esperienza in eTwinning.

“Personalmente, sono in eTwinning da diversi anni, ho partecipato a corsi di formazione ed aggiornamento online e in presenza, a conferenze nazionali (Bologna 2017) a seminari internazionali Izmir (2019), Dublino (2019) e sono stata partner e fondatrice di diversi progetti nazionali ed europei (eTwinning) per i quali ho ricevuto il Quality Label (premio di qualità) nazionale ed europeo”.

Presso la scuola dove insegna a Scafati invece che cosa sta organizzando?

“Quest’anno sono stata trasferita al IV Circolo Didattico di Scafati ed ho portato con me l’esperienza e il valore formativo della progettualità eTwinning. La DS, dott.ssa Maria Del Gaudio, ha colto la portata innovativa di eTwinning ed il suo valore in prospettiva europea, per cui ha istituito la funzione strumentale all’internazionalizzazione della scuola – progetti eTwinning-Erasmus”.

Nello specifico cosa si sta facendo e cosa si è fatto nell’Istituto di Scafati?

“In quanto funzione strumentale, insegnante eTwinning, ed insegnante di sostegno ho coinvolto alunni, colleghi, genitori e gli enti locali nei progetti di cui sono partner o fondatrice. I progetti in atto nel IV Circolo, sono veramente molti e tutti toccano tematiche/obiettivi e sviluppo di competenze europee (linguistiche, inglese ed informatiche)”.

La docente ci ha poi descritto i vari progetti eTwinning:

• “Let’s go back to our village” e “PEOPLE” riscoperta e tutela del proprio ambiente e territorio (UNESCO)
• “The power of democracy at schools” conoscenza, tutela e salvaguardia dei valori di libertà e di democrazia nei diversi contesti di vita, a cominciare dalla scuola
• “Be creative, break the barrier” nuove metodologie didattico-educative per alunni “speciali”
• “No to new continent” tutela e salvaguardia del nostro ambiente: lotta allo spreco e all’inquinamento.

La professoressa ha raccontato inoltre le iniziative intraprese anche dagli altri plessi.

“Da settembre a fine febbraio il lavoro a cui hanno partecipato alunni delle classi IV e V del plesso Martiri d’Ungheria – Scuola Primaria, è stato condotto a scuola, nel laboratorio di informatica, nella meeting room ma anche in trasferta (Giornata della Concordia nel castello Mediceo di Ottaviano).

Innumerevoli sono le chat, le video chat (su Skype, Messenger, sui twinspace dei vari progetti ) che abbiamo avuto, e durante le quali gli alunni sono stati protagonisti di attività in sincrono, per lo più in lingua inglese, ma anche in lingua turca (canzone) con i loro partner di progetto turchi, spagnoli e francesi: conversazioni a tema.

Origine del nomi degli alunni, significato del loro nome- the courtesy words con flash card in italiano, turco ed inglese- lavoro condiviso in sincrono su JigasawPlanet.com  per realizzare un puzzle con logo del progetto.

Ogni chat e video chat è stata ‘documentata’ non solo con foto, ma anche con la produzione di lavori multimediali online (genially, padlet, emaze, voki, filmora) condivisi in sincrono e asincrono con i partner”.

Con il lockdown i progetti sono continuati, anzi abbiamo sperimentato con  maggiore frequenza l’accesso in piattaforma e in rete. Con gli alunni, i campionissimi di eTwinning ed ENO, abbiamo prodotto ebook condivisi (con alunni turchi), organizzato tour virtuali, interviste online ad esponenti della società civile, economico-produttiva e culturale di Scafati e dei paesi vicini, partecipato a corsi di formazione in lingua inglese su app (flipaclip) e prodotto cartoon animati in sincrono con insegnanti e alunni di nazioni diverse!

I veri protagonisti sono stati gli alunni, tutti gli alunni che partecipando attivamente ai progetti hanno espresso in situazione abilità e competenze chiave (in prospettiva europea).

Il Vespaio ha fatto partire il progetto gratuito KiDS4 https://www.ilvespaio.eu/kids4/ canale YouTube nel quale vengono pubblicando video didattici per i bambini sui cambiamenti climatici e sui problemi ambientali.

KiDS4 è il canale YouTube per bambini e scuole che propone video didattici sui cambiamenti climatici e sui problemi ambientali. I video trattano temi complessi in maniera ludica e leggera, mescolando linguaggi e registri diversi e sfruttando la forza delle immagini per rendere i concetti più chiari:
– il riscaldamento globale
– l’impatto ambientale del cibo
– l’impronta idrica
– il risparmio energetico
– gli sprechi alimentari

E’ uno strumento didattico, lanciato in un momento in cui le scuole sono chiuse e i bambini sono un po’ abbandonati a loro stessi.
Inoltre, KiDS4 raccoglie dai bambini idee per il futuro e invenzioni per risolvere i problemi ambientali.

L’obiettivo è di coinvolgere sempre più scuole e di creare, oltre che una mostra online dei progetti dei bambini, anche una mostra fisica itinerante in cui le migliori idee dei bambini vengano realizzate e prototipate da designer e fablab.

ENO IN EARTH SCHOOL PROJECT – TREES ARE PLANTED AT HOME
TED-Ed, UNEP, and 30 other collaborators launch a free educational platform for environmental adventures available to teachers, parents, students, and curious global citizens
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, an unprecedented coalition has come together to launch “Earth School,” which provides free, high-quality educational content to help students, parents and teachers around the world who are currently at home. Initiated by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and TED-Ed, Earth School takes students on a 30-day Adventure through the natural world.
The curated Earth School content features videos, reading materials and activities — which will be translated into 10 languages — to help students gain an undderstanding of the environment while considering their role within it. This is the biggest online learning initiative in UNEP’s history and is available for free on TED-Ed’s website.
According to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), more than 1.5 billion learners are affected by COVID-19 school closures. The pandemic has caused a health, economic, and education crisis; in the age of physical and social constraints, there is a strong need for global science literacy.

Built for children and youth ages 5-18, it spans 30 school days that run between Earth Day and World Environment Day on June 5, which this year will take place under the banner of Time for Nature.

ENO was invited to organise a tree planting event for schools. It will take place around 22 May, international day for biological diversity. Because of COVID-19, trees will be planted at home by families or friends in small groups.

Lo slogan è “Le nostre soluzioni sono nella natura”, sottolineando la speranza, la solidarietà e l’importanza di lavorare insieme a tutti i livelli per costruire un futuro di vita in armonia con la natura. L’albero è un simbolo per noi. Innanzitutto, ci ricorda la natura e l’importanza della protezione del clima e dell’ambiente. In due momenti dell’anno, il 22 maggio, giorno della biodiversità, e il 21 settembre, giorno della pace, la rete scolastica e comunitaria globale Eno (Environment Online) per lo sviluppo sostenibile, promuove in tutto il mondo l’iniziativa “Eno tree project”, piantando dal 2004 alberi presso scuole e istituti scolastici.
Quest’anno a causa dell’emergenza virus non è possibile organizzarsi per piantare piante e alberi nelle scuole: pertanto l’iniziativa si è trasformata in “Planting day. Plant a tree at home” e la piantumazione avverrà nelle vicinanze delle case, all’interno di spazi verdi privati e condominiali.
Dal lancio iniziale nel 2000 Eno ha coinvolto oltre 10.000 scuole in 157 Paesi, che hanno realizzato azioni concrete per l’ambiente e continuano a farlo. In prossimità della data del 22 maggio, il “Planting day” è stato celebrato in questi giorni a Latina in un parco condominiale della zona Q3, con la partecipazione di bambini e ragazzi di fasce scolastiche diverse, dall’Infanzia alla Primaria agli Istituti secondari e superiori.

Mascherine e postazioni distanziate hanno caratterizzato un pomeriggio molto bello e significativo, che ha visto la presenza della coordinatrice nazionale Eno per l’Italia, Linda Giannini, insegnante, di Latina. E’ stata lei con poche parole molto coinvolgenti a introdurre la messa a dimora di una bellissima bouganville colorata, che andrà ad ‘appoggiarsi’ a un robusto albero di pino. A debita distanza uno dall’altra e due per volta, i bambini presenti hanno aggiunto la terra, l’hanno ben compattata e innaffiata, ponendo così le premesse per un impegno e un rispetto che dovranno durare tutta la vita. Applausi convinti hanno scandito le diverse fasi della bella cerimonia.
A conclusione del pomeriggio trascorso tra il verde e la natura, un messaggio per la giornata è stato letto da uno dei ragazzi più grandi:

22/10/2020: Cari colleghi ENO, prima di tutto, spero che stiate bene e al sicuro!

Per favore, fate attenzione, cari amici! ENOArt Upycled Tree Contest è terminato. A causa della pandemia e del blocco, la maggior parte dei paesi non ha potuto partecipare. Abbiamo prima prorogato la scadenza, ma abbiamo comunque ricevuto molte mail dagli insegnanti, spiegando che la situazione nel loro paese è così complicata, che non possono lavorare con gli studenti e quindi non possono partecipare. Alla fine abbiamo deciso che il concorso è chiuso e non più trattato come un concorso, ma come un normale progetto artistico. Tuttavia, abbiamo ricevuto 7 candidature da 6 paesi: Cina orientale, Italia, Montenegro, Macedonia del Nord, Slovenia e Taiwan. Per me sono tutti vincitori! I loro alberi sono stati creati in circostanze molto insolite, ma con tale immaginazione e inventiva, che devi davvero ammirarli. I ragazzi cinesi stavano discutendo e riflettendo in modo vivido, quindi hanno progettato un albero interattivo con le carte, appese ai loro rami per apprendere fatti interessanti sugli alberi. Gli studenti di Taiwan hanno sottolineato l’uguaglianza. Il loro obiettivo era mostrare come dovremmo accettare tutte le persone, indipendentemente dalle differenze che potremmo avere. La ragazza italiana stava costruendo il suo albero insieme a tutta la famiglia – dai nonni al suo fratellino, mentre gli sloveni hanno rilasciato la loro esplosione di fresca creatività mentre onoravano la Giornata della Terra. Tutti questi brillanti studenti e mentori hanno dimostrato che nulla può uccidere la nostra anima e che tutto è possibile finché credi in noi stessi. L’arte è forte! Non dimenticarlo mai. Goditi il ​​video con il loro lavoro e ringrazia tutti i tuoi insegnanti e scuole che volevano partecipare, ma questa volta non hanno potuto.

Questi alberi riciclati sono stati creati da brillanti studenti ENO di 6 paesi durante la chiusura del Covid 19, mostrano la loro inventiva, mente aperta e immaginazione. E questo è ciò che conta la vera creatività.

Dear ENO teachers from all around the world,First of all, I hope you are all well and safe! Please, take care, dear friends!ENOArt Upycled Tree Contest ended. Due to the pandemic and lockdown, the majority of countries could not participate. We first prolonged the deadline, but still received a lot of mails from teachers, explaining that the situation in their country is so complicated, that they cannot work with students and therefore cannot participate. Finally we decided that the contest is closed and no longer treated as a contest, but as a regular art project.Nevertheless, we received 7 entries from 6 countries: East China, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Taiwan. For me, they are all winners! Their trees were created in very unusual circumstances, but with such imagination and inventiveness, that you really have to admire them.Chinese boys were debating and brainstorming vividly, and then they designed an interactive tree with cards, hanging from their branches to learn interesting facts about trees. Taiwan students emphasized equality. Their goal was to show, how we should accept all the people, regardless of the differences we might have. Italian girl was building her tree together with the whole family – from grandparents to her little brother, while Slovenes released their burst of fresh creativity while honoring the Earth Day.All these brilliant students and mentors proved that nothing can kill our soul and that anything is possible as long as you believe in ourselves. Art is strong! STUDENTS, CREATE A TREE

• The tree that you create will be displayed in the school hall, your classroom, school library or maybe outside your school.
• It must remind the passers-by of the enormous importance of trees for the Earth and humanity. It may function as a display or it may create a pleasant atmosphere where everybody will want to sit and socialize…
• Create a tree with a message. Think of all the diverse functions of a tree. There is no right way for how you see it – it could be as an object of beauty or a collection of chemicals … What matters is that you become the voice of trees and make people think.

MATERIALS

• Construct your tree from old and used materials. Use materials you have in abundance. This can be practically anything you find in the waste: pieces of wood, metal, wheels, old newspapers, old books, umbrellas, plastic bags, bottles, CDs …
• There is no limitation on types of materials.
• Any materials needed for the tree’s construction – such as glue, string, nails, screws, or other similar materials – are allowed.
• The tree must have a 3D construction and be at least 2 meters tall. If the construction allows, it can stand on its own, if not, it can lean against the wall.
• The most important thing is your imagination! Think out of the box. Surprise us!

IMPORTANT

• We must all learn how to reuse materials and find the joy of creating again. Never forget that we have everything we need to create anything we want.
• Learn to find the beauty within the material itself. Do not transform the material into something that it is not. Plastic is plastic and not marble.
• Find the beauty in the imperfection of the used and broken things. When we learn how to love the imperfection of things, we will learn to love our own so-called imperfections.
• The possibility of using anything does not mean you have to use everything! Choose tastefully.

• Practical technical prizes will be awarded to the top project in each category!*
• Top five projects will get a diploma signed by ENO and the International jury.
• Every participant will receive a certificate signed by ENO and the International jury.
• All the entries will be displayed within the online gallery.

* The spread of coronavirus forced us to change the beautiful awards we prepared for you, because they included traveling. We had to decide for safer practical awards. The winning author and mentor of each category will get smart phones.

We want to see stories of trees from all over the world. Let your tree speak through the photo.

Is the tree in your neighborhood the tallest, the smallest, the funkiest, the oldest tree ever …

Or is it simply beautiful, blooming or changing colors?

CREA UN ALBERO

• l’albero che crei può essere esposto nell’atrio della scuola, nella tua classe, nella biblioteca della scuola o anche fuori dalla scuola.
• la tua creazione deve ricordare ai passanti l’enorme importanza degli alberi per la Terra e per l’umanità. Può funzionare come un display o può creare un’atmosfera piacevole dove tutti vorranno sedersi e socializzare …
• creare un albero con un messaggio. Pensa a tutte le diverse funzioni di un albero. Non esiste un modo giusto per come lo vedi: potrebbe essere un oggetto di bellezza o una raccolta di sostanze chimiche … Ciò che conta è che diventi la voce degli alberi e induca le persone a pensare.

MATERIALI

• Costruisci il tuo albero con materiali vecchi e usati. Usa materiali che hai in abbondanza. Questo può essere praticamente tutto ciò che trovi tra i materiali di scarto/di riciclo: pezzi di legno, metallo, ruote, vecchi giornali, vecchi libri, ombrelli, sacchetti di plastica, bottiglie, CD …
• Non ci sono limiti sui tipi di materiali.
• Sono ammessi tutti i materiali necessari per la costruzione dell’albero – come colla, spago, chiodi, viti o altri materiali simili.
• L’albero deve avere una costruzione 3D ed essere alto almeno 2 metri. Se la costruzione lo consente, può stare da solo, in caso contrario, può appoggiarsi al muro.
• La cosa più importante è la tua immaginazione! Pensare fuori dagli schemi. Sorprendici!

IMPORTANTE

• Dobbiamo tutti imparare a riutilizzare i materiali e ritrovare la gioia di creare di nuovo. Non dimenticare mai che abbiamo tutto il necessario per creare tutto ciò che vogliamo.
• Impara a trovare la bellezza all’interno del materiale stesso. Non trasformare il materiale in qualcosa che non lo è. La plastica è plastica e non marmo.
• Trova la bellezza nell’imperfezione delle cose usate e rotte. Quando impareremo ad amare l’imperfezione delle cose, impareremo ad amare le nostre cosiddette imperfezioni.
• La possibilità di utilizzare qualsiasi cosa non significa che devi usare tutto! Scegli con gusto.

ENO Art: Trees , Mar – May 2020

The year 2000 was the beginning of many new and visionary things. It was also the year when the ENO program was born. Our goal was to raise environmental awareness and sensibility in the young generation and help them to grow into responsible citizens of the Earth. From the beginning, ENO has recognized the enormous importance of trees to the Earth and we have been planting them since 2004.

Humans cannot survive without trees. They are the biggest plants and the longest living species on Earth. Their role is so versatile that the list of their tasks would go on and on: they provide oxygen; store carbon dioxide; improve air quality; conserve water;  preserve soil; support wildlife; provide shelter, medicine, fruits and wood; they trap dust and absorb pollutants from the air; reduce heat;  control climate; filter the sun’s radiant energy; reduce wind speed; strengthen communities …

And besides all that – they are beautiful and majestic.

No wonder our new ENO Art upcycling contest will pay tribute to trees! We have prepared an upcycling contest for students and a photo contest for teachers.

As our ENOArt Contest came out practically the same day as schools in most of the countries closed, we will prolong the deadline until the end of May (at least).

But in the meantime, it would be fun to create something else, something funky and easy, something students can do alone and have fun at the same time.
In short:

Tomorrow is the beginning of the ENOArt World Quarantine Fashion Week!
We start with the most fashionable accessories of the moment – masks.

Students and teachers must MAKE a mask (no photoshop!) dress up, make a photo and send it to Instagram with a hashtag #sayitwithamask. In the post, write also @enoschoolnet and name of your country.

These are all the instructions creativity wise. Only sky is the limit!
We all need some laughter now, so approach the task with a pinch of humor!

ENO Sri Lanka, in co-operation with Sri Lanka Twins Organisation is arranging ENO Sri Lanka Meeting 19-23 Jan 2020. CEO Mika Vanhanen will come to Sri Lanka 19 Jan. The programme starts with the amazing cultural gathering of twins in Colombo 20 Jan, aiming to get tens of thousands of twins to celebrate, a Guinness World Record Attempt. From 21 Jan to 23 Jan there will be ENO meetings and touring Sri Lanka. Some national coordinators will join. The government of Sri Lanka supports Climate Agreement of Schools 2019-2025 and an agreement will be signed. Meetings with the president, prime minister and first speaker of parliament. Finnish prime minister congratulates Sri Lanka with an official letter and the presisdent of Finland supports the event as well.

Incontro Skype tra la coordinatrice nazionale ENO, dott.ssa Linda Giannini e l’ins. Olga Mosca del 4° Circolo di Scafati, scuola primaria in occasione dell’per l’Open Day della scuola. Durante la chat del 15 gennaio 2020 bambine e bambini hanno letto la lettera per la Terra, hanno mostrato la lanterna realizzata in relazione al micro percorso ENO “Light for the Earth” e le saponette che hanno prodotto in proprio riutilizzando materie organiche. C’è poi stato modo di conoscere le colleghe della maestra Olga Mosca e di confrontarsi per futuri percorsi ENO in sinergia con eTwinning

Your support for schools to tackle climate crisis

Let me briefly introduce myself. I am the founder and director of Environment Online – ENO. It is a voluntary network of schools and communities for sustainable development, currently in over 100 countries. Most of schools come from less developed countries. We also have schools in your country.

Climate change is the most serious problem in the globe. We need to struggle against is nationally and globally. Each act counts. Our global ENO network of schools plant trees around the world in over 100 countries. We made a commitment of planting 100 million trees by 2017 in Rio+20 Summit. We have not yet reached the goal but go on planting trees. Most of the schools come from less developed countries. When focusing on schools we raise the importance of education.

We all know that Paris Agreement was an important step between governments when it comes to climate change. ENO network announced an agreement in June 2019, Climate Agreement of Schools. This agreement the answer of students to Paris agreement. Our goal is to tie 3 million tons of CO2 by 2025. It means about 100 million trees to be planted. Schools are committed to plant trees at least 0.5 hectars every year. This agreement was signed on the World Environment Day, 5 June 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. The patron of the conference was the president of Finland, Mr Sauli Niinistö. The initiative of adopting trees came from the president of Slovenia, his excellency Mr Bohut Pahor.

We kindly ask if you or your government could spread this campaign and help schools with the practical arrangements in your country? Environment Online – ENO will celebrate 25th anniversary in 2025. Schools will launch a global C02 campaign to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Pupils around the world gathered 29 May – 5 June in Finland to agree the jointly organised climate actions based on tree planting. To celebrate quarter century of the ENO Programme, pupils from over 10 000 schools in 150 countries will agree the goals of reducing carbon dioxide as follows:

1. With this movement, pupils raise up the fact that the mankind with its action has reduced forest area and their capacity to work as sink for carbon dioxide. Tree planting is needed to improve the carbon balance between carbon in the trees and atmosphere.
2. Pupils raise the fact that tree planting is a significant way to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Planting forests does not need complicated technology or big money. What we need is earth, Sun, water and seed and a man who ensures the start of growth of trees. When working together we can plant a huge number of trees.

There are two ways to join the agreement

A) Tree Planting Schools (TPS)

• School will plant trees each year at least 0,5 hectars (5 000m2) between the years 20192025. Trees will be planted in the areas where forest hasn’t been cut in 10 years. This way a new forest (carbon sink) will be ensured.
• School will agree with private or public land owners the suitable land areas for these climate actions. They will also agree the delivery of the suitable reforestation material for free with suppliers of seeds and seedlings. Names of partners will be published in the international media
• School will agree with the partners about adopting trees and can use this support also partly to improve their school activities. Tree planting schools will also partner with Tree Adopting Schools (see below).
• Schools will report the annual growth of trees to ENO Programme. ENO will publish annual summaries based of the data.

B) Tree Adopting Schools (TAS)

There are schools which are not able to plant, but want take part. Their job would be to motivate the children, teachers, parents and the local community.

• Students earn “trees” with their work. The payment for their work or help would be “a tree”. (1 € = 1 tree) For instance helping the elderly, go shopping for them, clean the cars, collect paper, clean the garage, work in the garden
• At school, students together earn these “trees” every year enough for 0,5 hectars (average 800 trees)
• Tree adopting schools will find a partner from tree planting schools – or vice versa with the help of ENO. Schools connect directly. The adopting school sends money to the planting school and informs ENO at the same time. The planting school plants the trees and sends photos to the adopting school and ENO. This feedback is very important – not just for the kids but also for the adults. The overall goal is to transfer 3 million tons carbon dioxide from atmosphere by 2025 when ENO Programme celebrates 25th anniversary or latest by 2026, when Paris agreement will have 10th anniversary

Invitiamo studenti, insegnanti, famiglie e chiunque voglia contribuire a questo evento ENO proposto in tutto il mondo, ad accendere la Luce per la Terra con noi. Suggeriamo di unirvi a noi il 29 novembre 2019 alle 18:00 -ora locale- on in un altro giorno e orario a partire dal 29 novembre 2019 e il 31 dicembre 2019.

La terra sta soffrendo. Le giovani generazioni, come vedono la Terra? cosa pensano? Sentono il suo dolore o pensano di più ai cambiamenti climatici e ai cambiamenti che porterà loro tutto questo?

Potrete incoraggiali a parlare e scrivere i loro sentimenti personali sotto forma di UNA LETTERA ALLA TERRA. Questa può essere breve o lunga, può essere realizzata come una poesia, un pensiero, uno slogan o un graffito. La forma non è importante. Può essere orientata verso l’ambiente o descrivere la visione della Terra su cui vogliono vivere gli studenti. Lasciateli liberi di effettuare proprie scelte personali. Lo scopo è quello di far sentire la voce dei giovani e che loro possano descrivano i propri sentimenti

Alla fine potrete scegliete le migliori lettere / pensieri / versi / poesie … che poi i giovani potranno riportare su un grosso pezzo di tessuto (2m x 1m) dal quale in seguito creerete una lanterna. Usate pennarelli permanenti e tessuto che permetta alla luce di penetrare.

CREA una lanterna. * Vedere le istruzioni di seguito riportate.
Se possibile, appendete la lanterna sull’albero nel cortile di scuole, di parchi pubblici, nel quartiere….
Preparate un breve evento e invitate i genitori e la comunità locale a parteciparvi.
In quell’occasione ragazze e ragazzi leggeranno le loro Lettere sulla Terra.
Accendete la luce
Fate una foto e inviatela a info@enoprogramme.org insieme alla migliore “lettera alla terra” tradotta in inglese.

OPZIONALE:

• Potete realizzare tutte le lanterne che volete. Inoltre ogni bambina/o, ragazza/o o visitatore potrà preparare la propria piccola lanterna e portarla all’evento.

ISTRUZIONI – Come realizzare una lanterna
avete bisogno di:
2 m di filo / un pezzo di tessuto 2 m x 1 m / 4 m di nastro / un ago, filo e nastro forte
Tagliate il filo a metà (1 m ciascuno), piegalo e fai due cerchi. Fissate il cerchio con un nastro forte.
Tagliate il tessuto 1 m di larghezza e 2 m di lunghezza. Il tessuto può essere di qualsiasi colore vogliate, assicuratevi solo che non abbia motivi e che sia trasparente.
Scrivete le parole scelte sul tessuto. Il testo dovrebbe essere scritto a mano e nella vostra lingua madre.
Al termine, cucite il tessuto in senso longitudinale.
Cucite il tessuto attorno ai cerchi di metallo nella parte superiore e nella parte inferiore della lanterna.
Tagliate il nastro in 4 pezzi. Fissateli su 4 punti nella parte superiore della lanterna. Fate un nodo o fissatelo con un gancio.
Appendete qualcosa sul fondo della lanterna per renderla più pesante: nastri, pompon, rami, legno, scarpe … Può essere qualsiasi cosa, basta usare la vostra immaginazione!
Le lanterne sono illuminate con luci a LED. Appendete una luce a LED chiara (singola o trefoli) alimentata a batteria dal nastro in alto, in modo che si illumini di notte. Potete anche usare la luce solare o l’elettricità se lo riterrete più semplice.
Appendete la lanterna sull’albero e assicuratevi che sia accesa ogni giorno fino a dicembre.
